ProQual Level 4 – Permanent Make Up Beginner’s Course

With this Course, learn all that is needed to begin your career in the well paid field of Permanent Makeup.

To start with, you must complete your pre-study along with five online courses. These are Infection Control for Beauty Therapy, Risk Assessment, Anatomy and Physiology, Beauty Therapy First Aid and Covid 19. You will receive hands-on practice on live models and “practice skin”, you will learn guidelines for health, safety, sanitisation, effective anaesthetic techniques, intricacies of eyebrow mapping, shaping and colouring, finer points of eyeliner application, utilisation of colour to solve lip shape enhancement, colour theory, blood borne pathogens, pigment usage, colour mixing, camouflaging, skin tone, mistake correction, and more.

The initial length of the course is 5 days with 40 hours of pre-study prior to taking the course and 2 assessment days with ongoing workshop support, which can be classroom based and working on models. Please see below for course schedule and content

Course Information

Course Requirements:

Our 5 course pre-study is provided which will enable you to jump start your permanent makeup journey so beginners are welcome. These 5 CPD courses must one completed online.

These are:-

1. Infection Control for Beauty Therapy
2. Covid-19
3. Risk Assessment
4. Beauty Therapy First Aid
5. Anatomy and Physiology

Once you have completed the 5 courses you can print your CPD certificates which you can use to obtain your Council License and gain insurance.

Course Duration:

5 classroom days with 40 hours of pre-study, 2 workshop days and 2 assessment days. Additional workshops are available with ongoing support.

If you have difficulty allocating 5 consecutive days, we can work around your schedule and i.e. maybe completing your eyebrow days first, which cover 3 days and 2 different days for lips and eyeliner.
